Setting Up Your Staff
STAFF MAINTENANCE
Manage staff access and permissions from the <Staff> page. Click on a staff member's name to open their profile and make edits.

Portal Access
Staff who need to use the Barnet Lite portal—for tasks such as managing SKUs, viewing reports, placing orders, or receiving invoices—must be assigned a Username and an Access Code:
Username: Must be in all lowercase letters.
Access Code: Must be a numeric code between 2 and 12 digits.
In-Store Sales Access
Staff responsible for processing sales at the till must be assigned a Desktop Person ID:
This serves as their login for the front-end till system.
It must be a numeric code no longer than 10 digits.
It must be unique across all staff in the store.
It can match the Access Code, but uniqueness is required.

Permissions and Access - Several tabs are available to configure access levels and permissions for each staff member. Be sure to review and set these based on their respective role.


Reports Access - In the ‘Reports’ tab, you can manage access to various report categories, including Sales, Inventory, Customer, and Staff reports. You may choose to grant full access to all reports within a category or select specific reports individually.
