Inventory Adjustments and Counts
INVENTORY ADJUSTMENTS AND COUNTS
To correct inventory discrepancies in the system, use the ‘Adjustment’ feature in <Product Maintenance>. You can either:
Enter a specific adjustment (add or subtract a quantity), or
Enter a total count for the product in-store.
How to Apply an Adjustment:
In <Product Maintenance>, select the product(s) by checking the box next to the item(s).
From the ‘Action’ dropdown menu, choose “Adjustment”.
In the pop-up window:
Enter an adjustment (add or subtract) or input the total Physical Count.
Optionally, add a note to explain the reason for the adjustment. (This note will appear on the Adjustment Report for future reference.)
You can also use this process for cycle counts by selecting multiple products and entering their Physical Count directly. The system will automatically calculate and apply the adjustment.
